ONE THING IS CERTAIN, WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE...

I know I sound dramatic, but, am I lying? UNFORTUNATELY NOT, so keep on reading as this might interest you.

And I nearly did, twice, die I mean.

I will tell you about the second time I nearly died or at least I thought this would be my fate.

South Africa, 2018,  I was volunteering at the wildlife game reserve, we were in the lion pen, a place where they kept lions in rehab before release, the senior vet wanted to draw some blood from a lioness to check her health.

He prepared the dart and the gun to sedate her, I asked what combination of drugs he used for big cats, turns out, the combination is the same used in smaller felines, but, he said he was only using one type of drug.

My gut told me “that doesn’t seem enough to put a big cat to sleep” but I wasn’t going to question a senior vet, so I went along with it and trusted that he knew what he was doing.

Gun was shot, dart right into the felines right shoulder, few minutes in, lioness seemed asleep after moving into the bushes, which you don’t want as it makes it more difficult to find and there were 9 other lions within the pen.

If there is something you should NOT do, is going in the bush not knowing where the other lions are, so, we parked the “bakkie” (four by four car in Afrikaans”) between us and the other lions so that our backs would be protected by the vehicle.

The vet poked the lioness with a stick to make sure she was asleep.

She didn’t move

The vet said “Eleonore, when you are ready, you can draw some blood, I will hold the paw for you”.

I bend on my knees intimidated yet excited at the same time, in front of that massive feline face, my head could fit into her mouth no problem.

I grabbed that huge paw, soon enough, the giant cat moved and roared in my ears so loud she would make sure that I would never forget her for the rest of my life.

All my body trembled, I jumped backwards as fast as I could. My luck is that she jumped backwards too.

We both did. We looked at each other saying “that was a close call”.

I was right, my gut was right, “the sedation given wasn’t enough I thought to myself, I should have said something”.

Luckily nothing happened. I lived to tell a story, a story in the wild.

Although, it was a dangerous moment, I don’t regret a moment of it, I was living a dream.

A dream of being outdoors with wild animals, making sure they were healthy, experiencing adventures, some more risky than others but LIVING non the less.

I would still not go back to my four grey walls in the clinic, as “safe as that was” , I was dying even more between those four walls.

Most people are, NOT even living, they are surviving.

They live in a routine, day in day out, long weeks waking up at the same time each day , same job, same hours, dealing with people they don’t like and having to be “tolerant” or “politically correct”.

Looking forward to the weekend, do nothing because they are too tired from the passed week.

When I had my practice, that’s how I felt but I knew there something better, bigger out there.

I just didn’t know how to get there without money, as my practice was taking it all in, well, the bank to be more exact.

I wanted to experience life, feel free, feel that I was doing something meaningful, I was a vet after all , isnt’ that what we came here to do? Save animal lives?

Aren’t we all here to live and experience the best life possible? I feel a lot of people live their lives like they had another one coming.

I might as well live this life NOW while I have the chance.

I have so many more stories to tell you, oh so many great memories from my time in Bora Bora swimming with hundreds of black tip sharks to nearly being swallowed by a whale shark in the Maldives or how I learned about racoons being so cheeky while working at a rescue center in Costa Rica, where I also cured monkeys that were being electrocuted by the electrical cables which was heartbreaking but felt good when they were feeling better and healing or  how I swam surrounded by playful sea lions in the Galapagos islands as if I were in a David Attenborough documentary…so many stories, so many memories, so many adventures.

So many experiences I could only dream of while in my clinic waiting for clients to come.

What If I stayed in that clinic ? all the things I would have missed, shame on me!

One thing is certain, we are all going to die, but some of us, will be on our death bed saying:

” I HAVE NO REGRETS, WHAT A WILD RIDE THIS LIFE WAS, I CAN GO IN PEACE”

Now, my message to YOU, yes you. What are you going to do?

I made my dream come true, so this is really up to you.

So, if you had the option to live fully, to feel freedom, to live amazing adventures, to live with purpose

and passion, not feeling that you have to work, spending totally different days with new stories to tell.

Would you pay for that life?

Your choice.Your life.

If you chose YES to life, I CAN HELP YOU.

To build a clear path for you, I offer you the steps, but the work is on you.

It is your responsibility to make it happen, I show you the way.

I also have great books that I paid good money for and read which helped me a lot along the way, for you, for FREE.

Life long access and you can do it at your own pace.

Do I need to be a vet?

No.

Steps 1–5 are for anyone who wants to become a conservationist.
Steps 6–12 are exclusive to vets, vet techs, and vet students ready to leave the clinic and move into conservation.

**(But if you’re not a vet you will still benefit from these modules if you are stuck in a job you don’t like!)

No.

There are no guarantees in real life — only responsibility.

The same way as your university degree,
this course gives you the roadmap.

Your effort determines your results.

Is this course for burned-out or struggling vets?

Yes.

This course was built for those who feel:

What makes this course different?

This isn’t theory.

It’s my own story on how I went from being a burned out vet into a happy conservationist living my best life.

This comes from real conservation work, real danger, real decisions — and choosing life over safety.

No filters. No lies. No sugar-coating.

Do I get bonuses?

Yes.

You’ll get hand-picked books and resources I personally paid for and used — free.

What if I’m scared?

Good.

Fear means you’re standing at the edge of something real.

Are you more afraid of failing…
or of never truly living?

So, should I do this?

If you want to keep surviving — don’t

If you’re ready to live with purpose, freedom, and fire —
