PET NUTRITION
When I was young I had a pet named Silka, a mix lab and German shepherd that I rescued.
At that time we didn’t know much at all about nutrition and feeding animals and neither did our vet.So we gave her the typical dry food diet and sometimes we would give her table scraps.
She seemed healthy but when spring hit she would get infested with fleas BIG time and not even the vet knew what to do besides giving her steroids to calm her inflamed skin and itchiness and some chemical spot- on to kill the fleas which hardly worked, he wouldn’t do anything else.
Her skin started looking very dark and thick, she lost all her hair on the back of her tail and seemed very uncomfortable.
One day, a friend of my fathers who was into holistic medicine thought of giving her home made cooked food and THIS made a massive difference to her coat.
Hair started to grow, fleas started to die off and got her beautiful shiny coat back.
This was a turning point for me, I was still very young but something clicked.
This is when I realised what good food and nutrition does to our bodies.
Parasites only attack unhealthy and immune suppressed bodies, not the ones with a healthy immune system, or at least not in big quantities.
And the base of a healthy body always starts with what we put into it, good nutrition and free of chemical products.
YOU CAN’T HEAL A BODY IF YOU KEEP GIVING IT WHAT MADE IT SICK IN THE FIRST PLACE…
Maybe this is your situation, you have tried all the options your vet prescribed, yet your pet still isn’t getting better, you give him the medication prescribed and it kinda helps but if you stop the treatment symptoms come back.
Many vet visits, many tests, more meds yet the problem is still there.
Your vet says, there is only this treatment and nothing more we can do and you get frustrated as it is all costing a fortune plus loads of time that you don’t have paying visits to the vet.
WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THERE'S ANOTHER MORE EFFICIENT WAY?
Hi! I’m Dr.Eleonore!
A holistic veterinarian with over 20 years experience in both traditional and holistic medicine as well as conservation medicine.
I started being a a traditional vet but soon after I was getting very disappointed on the medical system in general, I didn’t see patients getting better but I felt I was just hiding the symptoms with drugs as patients would come back for more meds each time.
This to me wasn’t curing, it was just putting a bandage to a wound without curing it.
This is when I stopped working as a traditional vet and started exploring other ways and this involved my own health, where I switched to a plantbased diet .
Cutting out dairy and processed foods made a huge difference in my health and I wanted this for my patients too!
I also did conservation work helping rescued wild life in exotic countries and at home which taught me a lot about how nature works and how connected we are to it.
I’ve worked in many countries like Spain , Uk and The Netherlands, this last one is where I worked solely as a holistic practitioner, no surgeries, no medications, no vaccines, purely natural treatments like acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition and osteopathy, titer testing and animal were getting cured!
I’m a certified veterinary medicine practitioner with main focus on food therapy and herbal medicine as well as clinical nutrition providing good knowledge in supplements and also functional foods.
SO HOW DOES THIS WORK?
YOU HAVE TWO POSSIBLE OPTIONS

- Last 30 min assessment to create a long term plan to keep him in balance and healthy.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
The price of my consultations reflects the specialist time, knowledge and experience involved in each case. I do not simply provide a standard diet or generic nutritional advice.
For every patient, I review and study the complete clinical history, previous diagnoses, laboratory and diagnostic tests, medications, symptoms, current diet and lifestyle. I then use this information to create a fully personalised nutritional and supportive health plan specifically for your pet.
You are paying for specialist veterinary expertise, individual case assessment and a long-term approach to your pet’s health.
However, biology has limitations. Nutritional and holistic medicine can support the body’s natural ability to function and recover, but it cannot reverse every disease or guarantee a cure. When disease or organ damage has progressed beyond what the body can reasonably compensate for or recover from, no practitioner can perform miracles.
Your commitment matters
This is a team effort. My role is to assess your pet, provide specialist guidance and give you a clear, personalised plan. Your role as the pet owner or caregiver is to put that plan into practice consistently.
The results of nutritional therapy depend greatly on your commitment to following the recommendations, including dietary changes, supplements, lifestyle measures and any other advice provided.
I therefore cannot accept responsibility for a lack of improvement or deterioration in your pet’s condition where the recommendations provided have not been followed as advised, or where recommended veterinary investigations, treatments or follow-ups have not been undertaken.
My aim is to give you the knowledge, tools and specialist guidance to give your pet the best possible opportunity for long-term health and wellbeing.
